OYSHIA bags award of Outstanding Oyo Agency of the year.

Oyo State Health Insurance Agency recently won the “Outstanding OYO AGENCY OF THE YEAR AWARD” in recognition of their immense contribution to the Health sector (infrastructural/wellbeing) in Oyo State.

The award was organized by Silverstone Communications at the 2021 edition of Miss Oyo beauty pageantry held at the Felicia Hall, Jogor Centre Ibadan.

OYSHIA was recognized as one of the recipients of the annual award among other agencies, commissions, and corporations like Oyo-State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), and Oyo-State Housing Corporation among all others.

Presenting the award to the Agency, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, admonished the Agency to keep up the good work and not to relent in their effort in making Healthcare delivery affordable and accessible to the residents of Oyo-State.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Executive Secretary, the Director of Human Resource and Administration of the Agency Mr. Abiodun Aderoju enjoined all and sundry to key into the initiative of the Oyo-State government through the State Health Insurance Scheme and as well lauded the effort of the organizers of the event.

It would be recalled that the Agency received the Certificate of Merit Award as joint winner of the 2019 Oyo Most Responsive and Exemplary Agency in Oyo 2019 Merit/Good Governance Award.

Just recently, the African Students Union Parliament (ASUP) honored the Executive Secretary with the Pan-African Leadership Award for Excellence as an icon of medical transformation.

The event was graced by crème de la crème in the society, among whom were Senator Kola Balogun, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Hon. Stanley Olajide, The CEO of Fresh FM, Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON), and other dignitaries.
