OYO STATE GOVERNMENT/OYSHIA PARTNERS WITH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS.

The Office of The Oyo State Human Capital Development (HCD) in collaboration with Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA) and National (HCD) Core Working Group recently played host to Stakeholders’ from Civil Society Organizations at a one day summit engagement meeting held at the House of Chiefs in Oyo State for the Purpose of Promoting more Effective Collaborative Strategies.

Speaking at the one day summit, The Honourable Commissioner for Health Dr. Olabode Ladipo in his goodwill message, opined that Civil Societies are supposed to be the voice of the people and that there is need to forge a lot of coalition and partnership with Government and Non-Government Organization to proffer solutions pertaining to economic productivity.

At the one day Stakeholders’ engagement meeting with Civil Society Organizations, The Executive Secretary of Oyo State Health Insurance Agency Dr. Olusola Akande delivered a lecture titled “STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT ON CARE AWARENESS FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS IN OYO STATE” in his presentation,  Dr. Olusola Akande spoke about the Burden of Health Delivery, Poor Health Indices, Measurable Achievements, and the Strides made in Health Insurance in Oyo State.

Present at the Stakeholder summit are Prof. Musibau Adetunji Babatunde, The Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Dr. Winjobi, National Coordinator, Civil Society Coalition on Sustainable Development (CSCSD), Chief Mrs. Grace Oluwatoye, The President Association of Women Orientation for Sustainable Developments (AWON) and Mr. Niyi Odejobi, Director, Globacom Ltd/Special Adviser on Growth and Strategy.
